...perhaps it's time to reconsider things...

From a BBC piece on flat earthers:
Mr Davis says he is currently creating an "online information repository" to help to bring together local Flat Earth communities into a "global community".

"If you will forgive my use of the term 'global'", he says.
Err, surely it'd be a "planual community"?

After all, as "global" comes from the Latin, "globus", we'll need a similar word derived from "planus". If that's not good enough, perhaps deriving "tabulal" from "tabula" would work?

Are there any flat-earthers who favour infinite planes, or are they all discworlders?

I would suggest something suitable derogatory (any dumber relatives of Trolls?) from pterry's fandom.

*snicker* Ah, the Flat Earthers. The humor content becomes greater every time I hear about something they want or have said.

I'd vote for "globular" - and no, I do not need to explain!

:-)

But surely, Flat Earth is a satirical group? That's how I always read it...
