Another SF author dies: Charles Sheffield

2002 has been an odd year for SF.

It's seen great books, and tragic deaths. And now, the author of one of those great books leaves us. Charles Sheffield has been one of the greats of hard SF for the last 20 years or so. He's been consistently literate, and consistently interesting for that whole period.

He will be missed. And I cross another name off my "buy on sight" list.
