You light up my life...

...if you ever wear any of these clothes.

A wonderful mix of hi-tech and design, using technology originally designed for particle accelerator detector arrays.

I originally applied to do a PhD in that, but they were really after a knitter.

Did you notice the company is Luminex but that both photographs are credited to Lumenix? The problem with cut and paste!

Well, depending on thread density etc. I can see some sort of colour wheel technology would be fun (as used in fibreoptic christmas trees), and then there's taking a small colour LCD (like digital camera displays) and creating a moving picture on a t-shirt ... fun! Use a tri-colour LED and have the colours change, add a microphone and have a shirt that pulses to the music, add a small spectrum analyser and have a graph of the music on your t-shirt! Add a bluetooth receiver and have your PDA animate your clothing!

Put the bluetooth and battery into a wrist band, weave a glove and have your picture phone display on the back of your hand (or put it onto a wristband or shirt cuff!)

The possibilities are endless

Yummy. Gimme Shiny Things. But I think the French blokes stole this from a bunch of Burning Man afficionados.
