Playing with the Macro capabilities of yet another loan camera, I took this picture of a bush covered in bright red berries.

A splash of colour on an otherwise dull day.

Looks like a Cotoneaster [or Pyracantha] to me. Popularly planted in coverts by gamekeepers because the berries are a big attraction for pheasants.
