Measuring the Blogmetrics

Pubsub.com are now calculating metrics for LiveJournal and Blogspot hosted blogs. It looks like they are using posting frequency and in and out links as their main measurements.

Useful if you want to see just how insignificant you are in the blogosphere...

It's what I've felt for a while - LJ's a closed world, in that even those with seemingly a lot of readers don't get noticed much outside of LJ.

Good outside comparisons: www.gizmodo.com for a community effort, and www.gapingvoid.com for an individual's blog.

What's considered the most popular LJ and LJ communities?
