...but the BNP seem happy enough with the sentiments of the Tory posters...

The politics of extremism are the same whatever label you slap on them.

I'm with Billy Bragg and Woody Guthrie on this one</a>.

From the second Mermaid Avenue album of Woody Guthrie songs, with music by Billy Bragg and Wilco:
I'm gonna tell all you fascists you may be surprised
The people in this world are getting organized
You're bound to lose, you fascists are bound to lose

Race hatred cannot stop us this one thing I know
Your poll tax and Jim Crow and greed have got to go
You're bound to lose, you fascists bound to lose

All of you fascists bound to lose
You fascists bound to lose
All of you fascists bound to lose
You fascists bound to lose
You're bound to lose! You fascists!
Bound to lose

People of every colour marching side by side
Marching 'cross these fields where a million fascists died
You're bound to lose, you fascists bound to lose

I'm going into this battle, and take my union gun
We'll end this world of slavery before this battle's won
You're bound to lose, you fascists bound to lose

"Are you thinking what we're thinking?"
Well, unless they're thinking, "Why don't you fuck off, you narrow-minded bunch of losers?", then probably not.

Umm yeah, because the poll tax is absolutely not alive and well and wearing a t-shirt saying "I'm the community charge, how can I help you today".

Fascism is a state of mind where you define yourself by what you control - George Orwells "boot stamping on a human face...forever".

Given that, I would describe both major political factions in the UK as capable of fascism.

The poll tax in the song, though, was cunningly designed as a tool to disenfranchise minorities with..... Oh, yes. I'll get me coat.
