One Who musing.

I'm probably the only person with a copy of BitTorrent who hasn't seen Rose yet.

But...

Is the theme the Orbital version? Because that would rock, and would be a wonderful way for the Brothers Hartnoll to bow out...

I'm not watching 'til broadcast because I don't want to see a leaked copy that might not even be the final broadcast copy.

However - the theme tune is not the Orbital version - it is the classic 70s version re-arranged by Murray Gold (who has worked on a number of other series written by RTD).

Ah, that's a pity. I had been told by someone on the inside that the review screener did use the Orbital version of the theme...

I really love 'Doctor?' but I don't think it would make a very good TV theme - the whole way Orbital buildup tracks means that they end up rather long and I can't think of any way to edit it to TV-titles length without ruining it...

I'm with you all the way, and want to thank you for your inital post on this matter. Some things are too special to rush!

Indeed. Although I'm getting increasingly tense waiting.

The Orbital version is absolutely amazing, shame they didn't use it.

You might want to wait for the show to broadcast to BT it, I've heard from people who've watched the advance copy that it appears that there are unfinished effects shots and that it looks like some editing is still to be done before broadcast.

BTW, that avatar pic is stunning, what's it from?

It's a Range Murata character study for one of the lead characters in the anime "Last Exile", taken from a book of his art and sketches.

should I admit I don;t even know when it is to be broadcast?

And yes - the orbital version makes me grin whenever I play it. I don't know why :-)
