Blog for the BBC

Radio 4's flagship current affairs programme, Today, is looking for three listeners to blog the upcoming General Election.

Like all good competitions, it's all down to the tie-breaker...
In 100 words or less tell us why YOU should write a weblog for Today throughout the election period.
So will the winners give us blogs in limerick format?

do we have to be regular Today listeners? or can we just be occaisional Radio 4 listeners when we can't be arsed to start up "Listen Again"?

I'd hate to be the person making the selection. Presumably they'd like to end up with a balance of opinions and probably a mix of genders and other factors (age, race, location?). They're not necessarily going to get sufficient information (indeed, were I to fill in the form, I'd omit some obvious things as voting history/intentions) without asking further questions.

I wonder how many applications they'll get.
