On the old dog and bone

Yes Rover, you too can have your own mobile phone thanks to PetsMobility...

Now, isn't that a little too much? I mean, what about the world's hamster population. Surely they need phones just as much as dogs?

Dogs speak! What would a hamster say? Methinks an RFID tag would serve as well.

If Lassie had a mobile phone, would it go a little something like this...?

This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. The radiation from mobile phones is PROVEN to CAUSE CANCER and BRAIN DAMAGE in DOGS, CATS, RODENTS and MARSUPIALS. (etc)

Cute idea, but I think the human's voice coming out of thin air right next to the ear would be at best confusing and at worst highly distressing - and then of course there's the "microwaving your dog-friend's brain" issue.

Of course, we don't need that, as Bella already knows how to use a telephone ;-)

Being of a certain age, I immediately pictured Timmy at the bottom of a well, phoning Lassie to go get help.

So this means that the excessively snooty cat can go out and still ignore its loyal owner sitting at home?
