Great Gü!

It's more than slightly nice chocolate puddings.

Especially the mini chocolate orange pudlets (which are sadly not on the web site, which probably means all the more for me!)...

(Excuse me, I need to go to Waitrose now...)

They sound lovely. Esp. the raspberry one. Who knows when I'll get to try them. Wah!

ias cracked and bought a pack of the chocolate/raspberry ones last week (justifying the cost by pointing at the free ramekins that come with every pack).

Not bad, and very like a Helena Rubenstein pudding - Petits Pots au Chocolat - that we've been making for some years (well, since we happened to buy her Chocolate Parfait Penguin 60, itself taken from The Chocolate Book).

On the downside, they weren't quite as chocolatey as I would have liked (the result of using something other than a 70+% plain chocolate in manufacture, I guess), and ias thought that the raspberry puree was a bit oversweet (although did concede that it did still taste suitably of raspberries). Our overall verdict is that we'll carry on making our own (and serving them with raspberries as we do), but that the ramekins will come in very handy.

Ah yes, the "free" ramekins.

I have had to put up shelves to deal with the ramekins from several years worth of Waitrose chocolate mousses. You just don't feel right throwing them away...

Ah, the total cost of ownership. Probably ought to have figured in the bloating effect on my figure of that dessert too.
