Memorable lines in wonderful movies

Watching one of my favourite films of all time, I came across this little scene.
Manager: I have a message for you from the entire hotel staff.
Howard: And what is that?
Manager: Goodbye.
Howard: Is that the full text of the message?
Manager: It is.
Howard: Oh. When do you want me to leave?
Manager: Yesterday.
Howard: That soon?
And the best car chase with chinese dragon on a bicycle ever.

They don't make them like that anymore...

That film
God, I love that movie. I know that it prefigures a lot of what went wrong with Bogdanovich later, and come to that with Barbra S. and Ryan O'Neal, but somehow it is just charming. Kenneth Mars is fab in it, and Austin Pendleton and Madeleine Kahn. When they drag her off at the end, I love the little curves her feet make.

Igneous rocks have never been the same since, nor the Pentagon Papers.
