Deeply scary

This is just sooo wrong on so many levels: an Emacs emulator mode for Vim.

Spotted in NTK

I think we're in the end times, Toto...

Well, they're just returning the favour. Emacs has had a Vi simulator mode for donkeys'.

Ah, but that was just support for the one true editor.

This is just wrong!

emacs? vi? pteeuuii!
yuck. Of course you could take the best way out and use neither vi/vim *or* emacs.

mmm X2
(Yes, I probably am sick)

One note about vi: using hjkl for movement is bloody awkward if you're using a Dvorak keyboard.

Perverse. But then, I'm an emacs user (and recovered vi user -- clean and mode-free for over 15 years now).

Wonderful :)

Thanks for pointing me at that, Simon; I may even install it on a box or three for those odd times I don't use Xemacs for whatever reason.

Adding a level of indirection, you've also pointed me at the Emacs wiki, which I wasn't even aware existed.

Um, so you probably don't know about Wiki Mode either...
