  • Fri, 13:27: People really don't understand tariffs. So many folk out there cheering for no deal because "the EU will pay tariffs" when it's us who will pay. It's the same as duty on parcels from the US. That �8 to the post office on top of the tax on everything that comes into your house.
  • Fri, 13:35: Also Vesta curries and Shiphams meat paste weren't very nice at all by today's standards.
  • Fri, 13:36: Custard apples are an add-on for our veg box next week. I'm tempted. So the question is: Are they nice?

  • Fri, 14:04: Possibly the most unusual Alien book in my collection: an in-universe childrens' picture book that sets up the backstory for Dark Horse's Alien Hive. Also Rick Geary art.

  • Fri, 16:38: So much of our food comes from the EU; No Deal will mean empty shelves and higher prices. With millions using food banks, how many more will be driven to them by this Tory shambles?
