Selling a bunch of stuff on eBay...

Top Tip of the week: Iif you start an auction at 99p (or less), there are no insertion fees for the first 100 items a month on eBay.

So that meant that Mary and I spent a chunk of yesterday listing items we've had lying around for a while, mainly because we've upgraded or just don't need them any more, and that could go to a new home...

A productive afternoon. Now for them all to sell!

In March we spent a night in Death Valley, staying at Furnace Springs and taking a side trip up to Salt Creek to see the pupfish. They're amazing little things, tiny fish that have adapted to live in some of the most extreme conditions possible.

We were lucky, as there was plenty of water still (though signs of the dry summer to come were all around), and the pupfish were mating - with aggressive little yellow males darting around.

I decided to try out the HD video recording capabilities of my DSLR, filming a small group of the fish in a relatively shallow section of the creek.
