That looks worryingly useful - now all I want is one that has CF and Memory Stick

Speaking of gadgets
... what's your take on these? Real computer or toy? I confess to suffering extreme Geek Lust since playing with one at a campus vendor fair yesterday, and I *do* need a laptop ...

Re: Speaking of gadgets
Well, marypcb and I both have the HP Compaq tablet, and it's an excellent piece of equipment - great for note taking, and a real ice-breaker at meetings!

Re: Speaking of gadgets
Somehow I thought you might. (-:

From the at the specs for these things, they look pretty powerful. Do they work well with non-MS applications (Macromedia Dreamweaver, etc.)? How about games?

I have one more like this
http://www.lindy.com/uk/productfolder/03/32893/index.php

which appears as four drives on your desktop so you can drag n drop from compact flash to smart media etc.

The manual actually specifies that the device can have up to 128Mb of flash memory built in, but mine didn't have any.
