First gig: King, Bath University. Must have been 1984 or '85.
Last: Porcupine Tree, Shepherds Bush Empire, March 2003
Next: Can't remember if it'll be Suzanne Vega or Yes in July, or if something good will turn up at short notice at the RFH before then.
Best: Loudon Wainwright III, Autumn 2001 at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Or Marillion doing Misplaced Childood in one go...
Worst: The Chameleons in a pub in Bristol. Or perhaps the Simple Minds gig where my then-fiancee left me...
Memorable: The Party In The Park mini-WOMAD in Bath. peter Gabriel live with a small audience on a beautiful late summer day just next to the Royal Crescent.
Sadly missed: The Alan Parsons Project. Never saw them live, but probably would have been disappointed. XTC. Maybe Andy Partridge will lose his stage fright someday
Always a pleasure: Fish
Best venue: I always liked the various music pubs in Bristol. Excellent atmosphere. And anything sounds good with a pint of Flowers.
Worst venue: Wembley Arena. It used to be a swimming pool. Need I say more?
Like to see: Union Jack. Faithless. XTC. Randy Newman. Yann Tiersen.
Ah, so many memories.
(Meme picked up all over my Friends view...)
