Scenes from the march

marypcb, codepope, spride and I formed part of the stream of well over a million people that wended its good natured anger across central London today. It was important that we were there to show what we felt, and the fact that 1 in every 60 or so people in the entire country were there was an incredible testament to what the people of Britain feel...

Unfortunately I forgot to bring the digicam - though codepope should have quite a good selection - so I took a few snaps from my smartphone's camera. The quality's not brilliant, but I hope they capture at least something of the atmosphere. Now if only I could have recorded the sound of a million voices sending a Mexican wave of sound roaring across the city...

One in 60 persons? Really? That is soooo cool. May the petulant asshole(s) in the White House hear our voices.
