You don't see this every year...

SW15 was covered with snow this morning, make it a little tricky for getting marypcb to the airport for her flight to Paris (things not being helped by the signal failure at our local tube station)... The picture itself is from PutneyCam, our Axis web cam that looks out north, towards the river.

Oh, we know, and we do it three or four times a year - unfortunately this time it's Apple's PR people who are flying her out to a videocast of Steve's Macworld Keynote, and they decided that they wanted to fly people...

*I* know. Apple's UK PR knows. Apple's European PR thinks it's easier to arrange everything centrally and put everyone from across Europe on the plane... it was fun though

Brass monkey weather
You think it's cold where you are?

My central heating boiler's thermostat died at about 6am this morning. (Naturally, it's the coldest day for about three years.) Brr.

Re: Brass monkey weather
Central heating? At least you've got heating. I'm seriously considering going out to the pub tonight. Just to stay warm, you understand...

Amazing isn't it? There was even snow on the ground in Brixton this morning. That's the second time in 7 years.

I like the Putneycam - do you have it plugged directly into your house LAN?

It looks nice... from this distance. I hope I don't ever look outside my window and see that white stuff in my yard!

I'm going up to MacWorld SF tomorrow. :-) I've never listened to a keynote though in all the years I've gone.
