Quick Burn Notice thought...

If Michael Westin lived on a boat in Fort Lauderdale rather than in a loft in Miami South Beach, and if he drove Rolls Royce pickup rather than a Dodge Charger, and if Sam was called Myers, and was an economist rather than an ex-spy, wouldn't we be watching a Travis McGee series?

So close.

So close.

Definitely - still trying to work out how to write a Dexter crossover.

That's easy. Javier, from episode 1, is really Angel Batista undercover...

I shall have to rewatch that episode, I hadn't noticed - but looking at the summary, the character has a son which doesn't really fit in with Angel.

I was thinking more in terms of a Doakes connection - Doakes was Special Forces, maybe he worked with Weston (or against him) at some point.

Angel has a daughter you know; but if he's undercover he'll have borrowed the son.

I'm sure some time Michael will be walking away for a crime scene as the blood spatter expert is arriving. Then their inner monologues can get together for a chat...
