Nay bad... but that miserable whiny young person's music soundtrack absolutely has to go and be replaced by something Wagnerian.

Loses some of the retro look of the original, but I can live with that, it does look sumptuous.

Nope. No Wagner it should be Talking Heads "Life During Wartime".

Ooooooooo - and I love the darkness of that music - very in keeping IMO!

I was so relaxed, so sure this was going to suck. How dare they raise my hopes like this?

Bastards.

My brother flew to the states to see The Phantom Menace at the earliest possible moment. I thought he was nuts but for this I might do the same.

The music alone is pursuading me to avoid it. "Visionary director of 300"? That doesn't help, either.

Thanks for the warning.

The music is indeed utterly diabolical.

note to all: trailers, especially early ones often use different music to the film, and often music from other films.

I thought it looked cool, but i want it to be different to the book, but in keeping with the themes. Why? Cos i can read the book, i don't need to see it animated. But i would be interested in an interpretation of it.

and now in HD....

the music is irrelevant. the pictures are true and tell the story, just as they were always meant to.
