Back in the Bay again...

I am a camera
Time to head back across a third of the world again for a few days.

I'm going to be in San Jose from tomorrow until Sunday, staying at the Fairmont (thanks to the folk who're bringing me out). I'm in meetings all of Wednesday and Thursday, but Friday and Saturday are looking pretty free. Anyone fancy meeting up at any point?

The hotel in which you are staying was the headquarters of the 2002 Worldcon, and will be hosting the 2009 World Fantasy Con.

Oh, I know my way around pretty well - I think I'm there two or three months a year!

(Dinner at Original Joe's tomorrow night I think!)

I think the 2002 Worldcon was the first time I went to the Fairmont. It's now pretty regular on my agenda - O'Reilly use it for lots of events and it's where I stay when meeting Adobe and Cisco.

I'm a big fan of the Thai place round the back of the Fairmont.

Hopefully it won't be as hot this weekend as it was during ConJose, and Kevin says the smoke from the fires is starting to clear.

BASFA meetings are on Mondays, for future reference.
